Complete in 3 volumes. Books measure 11 1/4 x 8 3/4 inches. Collation, xv,394, 12pp, 479,,456,38pp, volume 1, engraved frontis, and engraved portrait, volumes 2 & 3, engraved frontis,, half titles present, eratta page in volume 1 cut down, but text complete. Bound in full period tree calf, flat gilt bands, ornate gilt tooling, gilt dentells to board edges, marble endpapers. Calf light rubbed on corners and edges, hinge joints cracked, a couple of boards tender but holding, some abrasion wear. Generally, although the bindings are showing signs of wear, and boards are loose, a very attractive set. Internally, pages in good clean condition. A nice set, in attractive period bindings.
